Janice Berner, CLTC, CPA*, MBA, CDFA, is a Financial Advisor and Planner, specializing in retirement, divorce and life transitions, and estate and business succession planning. Janice has been in the financial services industry since 1990. She started her career at a Big 4 accounting firm and left in 1999 for Fidelity Investments where she held various management and director roles for over 9 years. In 2011, Janice brought her practice to Baystate Financial to serve individuals, families and businesses in need of financial advice.

Clients describe Janice as being objective, knowledgeable and, most importantly, trustworthy and caring. Her greatest joy is the satisfaction of knowing that she has coordinated a strategic financial plan directed towards the realization of her clients' goals.

Janice is committed to building long-term relationships with her clients to assist them in achieving their individual financial successes. She combines her twenty years of experience in finance with a team approach to provide solutions to many of today's financial challenges. Janice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and a Masters in Business with a concentration in Accounting from California State University. She demonstrates her commitment to the community by serving on the board of various community organizations, including the Reading Scholarship Committee. In her free time, Janice most enjoys spending time with family and fundraising for the Pediatric Cancer Unit of Mass General by running in the Boston Marathon.
